Point of Impact (POI) Analysis

A Point of Impact (POI) analysis requires roadway evidence to determine where the crash occurred on the roadway. Evidence to determine this includes impact gouges on the roadway, tire marks before, at and after impact, as well as post-impact evidence (e.g. gouges, furrows, scratches). In order to determine the POI, it is important that Police scene photographs and/or measurements be obtained, or that our offices measure the site information.
